Facelift (Rhytidectomy)
The ideal youthful face has taut, smooth skin. With the passing
of years, the skin of the face and neck loosens, resulting in
wrinkles fat redistribution and sagging skin. After facelift surgery, you will discover a more rested and youthful appearance. The
goal is to reverse and impede the effects of gravity on your face. There are several varieties of facelift or rhytidectomy that we offer.

Comprehensive Lift
Surgical incisions are placed in front of and behind the ear, in the natural creases of the skin and in other areas, which camouflage the scars. The skin is separated from underlying tissues. Unwanted fat in the upper neck is removed and the skin in tightened. Since your skin needs a solid foundation to rest upon, tightening of the underlying muscle is often part of the procedure. Excessive skin is re-draped in a tension free manor. This ensures that our patients have a natural, “non-operated” look.
Surgery is performed on an out patient basis. You can resume
non-stressful activities during the first week.

Mini-Facelifts
Many patients only require or desire a “mini-lift”. This is a specialized technique that provides our patients with a rejuvenated facial appearance with a much shorter incision and recovery time. This procedure can be performed with just minimal sedation or under just local anesthesia. Ask Dr. Boyd is this procedure is right for you.

Facial Liposculpturing
Another way to achieve greater beauty is through facial liposculpturing. This is a way of removing fat from your neckline to redefine the jawline. Sculpturing can also be performed in conjunction with facelift surgery.
Within a few days after outpatient surgery, the dressings are removed, and you are allowed to resume easy activities. Within a week, you can return to work and commence full activities.

Veins and Redness
A laser designed to precisely treat visible vessels, broken
capillaries, spider veins, vascular lesions, and discoloration of
you skin. This laser treats all skin types, and great results are
seen on the face, neck, chest and legs. Unwanted blemishes
and vessels will be heated by the laser's energy, destroying
them, and allowing them to become less noticeable. Treatments
are tailored to match your skin condition and desired results.

Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery)
One of the most common plastic surgery procedures, rhinoplasty is performed to reshape, reduce or augment a person’s nose, remove a hump, narrow nostril width, change the angle between the nose and the mouth, or to correct injury, birth defects, or other problems that affect breathing. Rhinoplasty is usually an outpatient procedure performed under either local or general anesthesia and lasts one to two hours.

Chin Augmentation
Facial beauty starts with an ideal bone structure. This can be achieved by sculpturing and contouring your existing facial
framework.
Chin augmentation can bring a receding chin into better harmony with other facial features to create a more pleasing balance. Because chin augmentation can improve the results of a facelift
or rhinoplasty, it is sometimes done in conjunction with these
procedures. Chin augmentation may also be performed in
combination with other surgical procedures.
An implant is placed beneath the soft tissue through an incision made under the chin to enhance the chin’s projection. You will
see improvement right after surgery, though some swelling is to
be expected.

Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)
Blepharoplasty can rejuvenate puffy, sagging or tired-looking eyes by removing excess fat, skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. It may be performed for cosmetic reasons or to improve sight by lifting droopy eyelids out of the patient's field of vision. The procedure is usually performed in an office with local anesthesia in as little as 45 minutes.
Blepharoplasty can be combined with a facelift or BOTOX® treatments to raise the eyebrows or reduce the appearance of wrinkles, crow's feet or dark circles under the eyes.

Ear Surgery (Otoplasty)
Ear surgery for children or adults can set prominent ears back closer to the head and reduce the size of large ears. Surgery may also be helpful for “lop ear," "cupped ear" and "shell ear,” large or stretched earlobes, and lobes with creases and wrinkles. The procedure lasts from two to three hours and may be performed in a hospital, office-based facility or an outpatient surgery center under general or local anesthesia.
