Montgomery Gillard, M.D.
Montgomery Gillard, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School. After completing his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan in 2002, he began a two-year dermatological
surgery fellowship, certified by the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, emphasizing Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer and facial reconstruction.
During this two-year surgical fellowship at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center he received intensive training in Mohs micrographic surgery for non-melanoma skin cancers in addition
to the management and treatment of melanoma and other non-melanoma skin cancers. Dr. Gillard specializes in the treatment of
skin cancers and is an expert in the management of skin cancer, including Mohs micrographic surgery and soft tissue reconstruction
following Mohs micrographic surgery. He is a Member of the
American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and a Fellow
of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has published
numerous clinical and research articles, authored a textbook chapter on the treatment of skin cancer, and has presented at the annual
meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology.
