Charles M. Boyd, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.S.
 Dr. Charles M. Boyd is recognized both
nationally and internationally as a leader and expert in his field. Dr. Boyd is Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Facial Plastic
and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also Board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Boyd is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and completed his residency training and sub-specialty training in Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Boyd graduated at the top of his class Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from Howard University in just three years.
Dr. Boyd specializes in all aspects of surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Including facelifts, brow and eye lifts,
rhinoplasty (nose surgery) and neck lifts. Dr. Boyd is also a
specialist in Cosmetic Dermatology and Laser surgery; he is
a national speaker and physician trainer of advanced injection techniques for BOTOX® and facial fillers.
Dr. Boyd was a staff/faculty member at the University of Michigan for over 14 years. He served as an Assistant Professor in Facial Plastic Surgery in both the Departments of Dermatology and Otolaryngology. Dr. Boyd was also the Associate Chief of Staff at the University of Michigan Health System.
Dr. Boyd lectures and teaches residents, fellows and medical students within the University of Michigan. Dr. Boyd has also given Cosmetic
surgery lectures throughout the United States and internationally. Dr. Boyd completed a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan Business School’s Executive Program in April 2003.
Dr. Boyd has been featured on television, newspapers and magazines discussing current techniques in Facial Plastic Surgery. He has
published surgical articles and written several book chapters in several medical journals.
Dr. Boyd is also committed to many international charitable causes.
He volunteers every year for two weeks to work in Kenya with World Medical Missions, performing cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries on
children. This year Dr. Boyd and his team performed surgery on 90
children with congenital anomalies.
